Cookie Policy

Last updated: 4 May 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used on lenshub.ai and the LensHub product. We default to denying analytics until you opt in, and we don't use any advertising or retargeting trackers.

What we use today

  • Strictly necessary: session cookies set after sign-in to keep you authenticated. Without these, the product cannot work.
  • Preferences: a small amount of localStorage remembers your selected workspace and UI preferences (e.g., dark/light mode). One preference key, lh_consent, records your cookie-banner choice and its timestamp.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (consent-gated): if you accept the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic. Vendor: Google LLC. Purpose: page-view, traffic-source, and engagement metrics. Cookies set by GA4: _ga and _ga_*. Default GA4 retention: 14 months. We use Google Consent Mode v2; analytics storage is denied until you click Accept. We do not enable Google Signals, ad personalisation, or audience export.

What we don't use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
  • No cross-site tracking.
  • No fingerprinting or device-graph services.
  • No session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.).

Managing your choices

Re-open the cookie banner via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to revoke or change your decision. You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings, or install Google's official GA opt-out add-on. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out of the product but won't affect access to public marketing pages.

Changes

If we add any new non-essential cookie or tracker in the future, we'll update this page and present a refreshed consent prompt before it's set.
